How Pitch Deck Studios built an AI startup pitch deck for Creed, a faith-tech company whose app grew to 50K+ downloads within its first eight weeks.

Project Goal

Creed is building an AI companion grounded in Christian values, an embodied, voice-first companion the team describes as a youth pastor in your pocket. Founders Adi Agrawal, Dmitri Mirakyan, and Amy Conchie previously worked at Insight Partners, Opendoor, and Meta, and had each built and shipped consumer products before starting Creed. As the company moved into its next round of investor conversations, it needed a presentation that could explain the product, the market shift behind it, and its early traction, and approached Pitch Deck Studios to design it.

Fundraising Context

Creed's consumer app was already live and growing quickly. Churches had also begun reaching out about a white labeled version for their own congregations, opening a second, larger market in church software. The deck needed to hold both threads together: strong early consumer numbers, and a wedge into a much bigger institutional market.

The Challenge

Investors meeting Creed needed context fast. The AI companion category already includes general purpose and romantic companion apps, legacy Bible apps, and AI therapy tools, so the deck had to place Creed against that landscape and explain why a faith based product could earn trust those categories hadn't, while still carrying team credibility, market context, product, and traction into one tight investor read.

Our Approach

Pitch Deck Studios built the deck around Creed's existing product identity, carrying over the color palette and typography from usecreed.com so investors would recognize it on sight. The narrative moved from founding team credibility, into the broader shift behind the product (the reversal in U.S. religious decline), into the product itself, then traction, then the business model, using clean layouts and a blue gradient system throughout.

What We Delivered

Pitch Deck Studios treated Creed's traction data as its own design problem, not just numbers to drop onto a slide. The eight-week growth curve, retention rate, and message volume were analyzed and rebuilt into a single chart designed to read at a glance in a live investor meeting. The same thinking shaped the market landscape slide, where the three overlapping AI companion categories, general purpose, legacy Bible apps, and AI therapy tools, were mapped visually so investors could place Creed without a paragraph of explanation.

  • 12-slide investor pitch deck
  • Market and competitive landscape slides, including a visual category map
  • Product overview slides for the AI companion
  • Traction slides with growth and engagement charts, built directly from Creed's own usage data

The Result

Creed came away with an investor presentation built to carry a fast moving product story, consumer traction, and an emerging B2B opportunity in church software into fundraising meetings, without losing what sets it apart: trust built through an established institution. They managed to secure funding 3 months after working with Pitch Deck Studios on their presentation design.
